Default 2010 RXV changing from 4x12v to 6x8v

I searched the forums but couldn't find a direct answer. I have a 2010 RXV and i want to switch from 4 x 12v to 6 x 8v batteries. Is the tray the only issue I need to address or are there other things that need to be switched?

When you buy your tray also get the battery hold downs for the batteries.

Kind of off subject but related. When shopping for batteries I highly recommend sticking to the Trojans as they are the worlds largest manufacture of golf cart batteries. I have multiple golf carts; have tried many different brands of batteries over the past 15 years and have come to a conclusion that the Trojans are the best value for your dollar. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for with them...

That is a really good price? Are they charging you for a core on two batteries because your are only turning in four batteries?

Each "gc12 12v class" battery counts as 1.5 of "gc2/gc8 class" to our battery supplier.
