2005 ez go
I have a 2005 electric ez go, when I press the pedal it clicks a few times, golf cart acts like it wants to go put stops like no power at all, 36 volt system and the bank voltage is about 38 when read with a meter. Lights do not dim at all when the pedal is pressed. Any have a suggestion?

Re: 2005 ez go
If it is a series cart, the contacts in the F/R switch assembly might not be making contact.
You say something about it clicking a few times when pedal is pushed. When pedal is pushed, the solenoid should click only once. When pedal is released, you should hear solenoid drop out. If the solenoid is clinking more than once when pedal is pushed, there is a problem in solenoid activation circuit. If the solenoid only clicks once, the problem is in the high current circuit. |
