Just curious.

What kind of speed and run-time you getting with 20" tires and 7 x CR-200 (200AH) batteries?

I'll be running 18.5" tires and a 7 X 245AH pack with same controller.

Hopefully, I didn't harm my new batteries by float charging them since last November when I bought them. (Best laid plans of..... etc. etc. etc. )

Starting tomorrow, I'm driving to Oklahoma (2 days out - 2 days back) for my oldest granddaughter's graduation from Nursing School, but when I get back the following week, a neighbor is going to help me install the upgrades to my cart.

----------
Just a note for anyone considering a 42V upgrade.

Earlier in this thread, Scotty mentioned that 42V charger are hard to find and more expensive than 36V and 48V chargers, but that was before discovering the 42V DPI charger is the same price as the 36V and 48V DPI chargers. Now he sells all three voltages.

Also, the 42V DPI charger has the same transformer as the 48V DPI charger, so if you later decide to up the pack to 48V, all you have to do is replace the 421V control board with a 48V control board.

I'm really liking this setup. I was going to go with the 48v conversion (6-8v), but have access to new T-105's for cheap and need the bagwell space. ScottyB, I will be contacting you again to discuss options. My uses have changed a bit and just need clarification on packages.

I''m getting excited!

This 42v boost has been great fun, and as Johnnie mentioned the DPI 42v chargers are just $285 with the plug to fit your cart... give me a call

Technically no... however once in a while we hear about somebody who has successfully over volted the stock control but mostly ... we hear Pop and see magic smoke. I wouldn't try it.

Did you replace your plug respectable (36volt) to a larger voltage?

No, I had the same plug that is used on a 36V charger installed on the 42V charger. I only have the one cart and I'm the only one that puts it on charge, so there is little chance of mixing voltages.

The higher 42 or 48v volt system charges and discharges(operates) at a lower amperage rate than 36v.
The plugs built for 36v charging are substantial enough for higher voltages
