Default 2 55w driving lights vs. 12v batt.

hey JohnnieB or anyone else with battery expertice. How long can I expect a fully charged 12v batt. that's 875cca. to illumanate 2 55w head lights.On it's own, no charger? (road trip)

Well the EZGO light kit uses a pair of 35w bulbs plus the taillights and I have a stereo system with a 4 channel amp. I am going to guess that your 55w lights are going to draw about the same current as my total system. A group 27 battery will last me 3+ hours. It really depends on how low you are willing to drain the battery.

Be careful, because you mention 875 cca which tells me you have a starting battery and not a deep cycle. Your battery may seem beefy, but it won't handle constant current draw very well. It also won't recover very well when deeply discharged and recharged. I would expect 2 hrs will be pushing it for a starting battery.
