Default non working 79 three wheeler

I need a different body for my 1979 ez-go golf cart. It works great but the body is rusted alot. I use it because I am handicapped and can't walk long distances. It looks kind of tacky!!!haha Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum connie.belle......................

Help us out here a little......... The title of your post says, "non working 79 three wheeler", but in the post you said, "It works great but the body is rusted alot."

So, I assume the body is the problem <grin> The body panels are no longer available but now & then sombody has some extras and they become available at times but not often.

I'm handicapped too and have the same walking issue that you do too. My carts and power wheelchair are how I get around for anything over about 25 feet.

thanks so much for your reply. Yea, it works great but looks awful!!haha
I may have to learn or my husband may have to learn how to fill in the rusty holes and repaint Newer ones are just way to expensive for us. I do love my cart though. It gives me so much freedom especially when we go camping. I used to just sit at the site but now I can go wherever I want to.
Pray you have a great day.

connie, for just a few hundred dollars you can make you old cart look like anything you want, and really all you are doing is adding tape. What I mean by that is you can install a wrap.

They basically print any graphic or pattern on a large vinyl sheet, then install it over your old carts visual impairment.

These are photos of my cart..., before and after a wrap.

thanks for the information. Wonder if it will cover up the holes where the rust has ate through the metal?

It will cover the hole, but it will also be a soft cover, meaning something can break through the vinyl. It will make your cart look like its new. A little Armorall on the tires and cab area..., you'll be sporting a new ride!

Try to find a shop near you that will install the wrap. It's not hard to do, but does require a little finess and patience. Using Yahoo/Google..., do a search for "Colf Cart Wraps".

Here's a few search results to get you started...

They can make/print custom graphics as well..., which is how I got mine.

Connie, I didn't realize you were a DFW local.

I know a place Carollton that has a good deal on wrap grahics, and he can install it for you as well. Let me know if you want numbers.
