Hey sassy, what did you use on the very back section of your cart body that looks like corrugated aluminum...and you mind letting me in on where you can buy it? It looks great on your cart and I bet it really helps keep engine temperature down. I would like to get my hands on some to maybe incorporate onto my carts rear body cover to help cool the engine area. And again, awsome build!

i got that a the scrap yard many yrs ago and other than that i would think a welding shop could get it..it a 1/8 inch thick and easy to work with..i think is has to help with heat..
getting the carb richer helped with heat also as stock motor, with my exhaust and big air intake the engine got fairly hot..the 8 degree key made a even more diffrence.
i have not touched the pilot jet? did you? i just have the main jet at .043 and a lil rich ccording to plug reading.
the honda carb has a air mix screw close to the engine spacer but the clone 420 dont..it has a bras plug there..i assume its under that plug?
i read folks drilling the plug and screwing up and could ride lol..is there a screw under there also?
if there is i need to turn it a lil biti can tell..what does drilling that jet do? i seem to idle fine..thanks
hey ,you might find that alum with holes at mcnichols.com but prob pricey.

got a video showing the 420 predator pulling dead old tree that just fell..it by no means was light weight as i had to roll it to get the strap on it

Hey, that's the same price as the head I would need to fix this 290 engine. I was looking for a thread that showed what all was involved in installing a clone. I remember you having to shave and drill, ect. Guess I got some searching to do.
