Default 36v TXT battery cables

A guy at work is going to make up new cables for me. 2ga welding wire with soldered ends. He wants me to bring my cables to him for measurements but I'm afraid it may take him a while to make them and I don't want to be without the cart for that long.

Does anyone have the stock measurements for length on all the cables that I can just give him?

take yours off 1 at a time and measure them, write down measurements and take them to him that way you know they are right

You don't need to remove them to measure them, just use a flexible, non-conductive tape (I used one of those paper tapes you get at Ikea). On ours, the motor wires could be measured by pulling the back center cover off (the part that goes from under the backrest down into the tray at the back, assuming you don't have a rear seat).

When I had my 2ga wires made, I had the guy who did it put connectors on the wires from the controller and solenoid to the battery at right-angles, so they didn't need to be "twisted" to mate up. You can just about see that on the wire in the top-right of this picture, going from the controller B- to the bolt thru the fuse (which is attached to the -ve side of the battery pack)..
