Do you have any web links or guidance on the removal and install of the brake pedal assembly ?
It looks like there is a Hook looking device that when engaged latches on a tooth Looking gear device. Is that all part of the assembly or will those pieces be separate ? |

I took mine out over the weekend, the two cables that connects to the adjusting rod do have Keyholes in them so you can lift the whole thing up and slide the cables through the keyhole. Little pain getting them back in but is was easy enough, in your case you are replacing the group so you may need that taken apart, so this won't help.
Note: I didn't take the time to research your question, this was easy enough to serve my purpose, I bet you may need parts off the old assembly to reuse once you replace the pedal group. Sorry I don't have that maybe someone else will chime in. Try YouTube? |
