Re: 2010 EZGO RXV won't get over crawl speed.
If the encoder is open (as in open circuit for some reason, internally or wiring-related) it will not even let you go at all, the brake won't even release.
If it's simply 'bad' as in out of range the cart goes into 1-2MPH limp home mode. When they switched to Curtis in 2012-13 they went to a much easier 'speed sensor' that screws into the top of the motor with a torx screw. makes replacement easier. |
