Default 2003 EZ-GO TXT ITS Voltage

I have a 2003 EZ-GO TXT PDS 36v. When I attach a voltmeter negative probe to the negative post on the battery and the positive probe to the white wire on the ITS I get about 11v reading. Then when I push the accelerator it moves to 6v.
WHY? If the ITS is totally disconnected from the controller and I attach the Positive probe to where the red wire was attached, the voltage is 15.8v unplugged.

The supply input from the control to the ITS is typically 12~15V.
The output side as you adjust the pedal should swing in a much lower range. Normally its around 0.5~2.7. Make sure your reading on the correct side, if so and you are getting throttle faults you may need to replace your ITS. Check the wiring and everything first though it sounds almost like one of them is open.

If there is a red wire attached to the ITS sensor in the pedal box, it is miswired.

Correct wiring shown in attached picture.
