Replace key switch with toggle?
Is there any reason why an ignition switch couldn't be replaced with a toggle switch on an electric Marathon?

Unless you never leave your cart unattended where there are other people, kids, etc. around, might be OK. I'd suggest not doing it, too easy for somebody to decide on a joy ride.
I have a friend who removed the switch totally (did not like the idea of all carts with the same key), and uses a magnetic reed switch, located in back of the dashboard. He carries a magnet, or hides it on the cart somewhere, and simply places the magnet where the reed is, and presto, off he goes. I've thought of doing it myself.... kinda kool idea.....
