I dd this to my 2008 RXV Shuttle 2+2. I removed the bolts and removed the differential cover, catching the differential oil in a very shallow pan.

I cleaned the differential cover and mating surfaces thoroughly, then applied Permatex black gasket maker for synthetic oils. I jacked the front of the cart higher to level out the angle of the differential. I poured 10 ounces of synthetic differential oil with limited slip additive into the differential cover and carefully put it into place and secured it with a couple of bolts, hand tight. Then I put in the rest of the bolts and tightened them all. I ran the motor to get the new oil to work its way up into the gears. I put the cart on the ground and drove it for about 1/2 mile away then back. All is good.

Ok cool thanks mine has a rubber drain plug It sits up so I don't think it will drain there unless I jake up the front of cart ..I'm thinking I fill it there until it runs out ? Also there is a fill plug on top of the axel. Do I put oil there as well?

remember there is something that needs to go in with the lube. A friction enhancer I think.

Yuppirs, a limited slip additive since the RXV differential is limited slip. The Amsoil synthetic differential oil I bought had limited slip additive in it.
