Never mind. Probably won't work with a Sepex. Maybe what Rib recommended could utilize the FNR toggle switch, and simply jumper the wires that used to be controlled by the toggle?

thanks to all. Ok as per scotty b directions I swapped the two wires over and still only had reverse and reverse even though I toggled between forward and reverse. Then I changed the black and white wires on the controller and now I have forward and forward. What next does this mean the controller is stuffed if so can I get it fixed or do I have to buy a new one. I hope I can get it fixed as its a Altrax 400 and only 12 months old. Scotty B what are your thoughts please tell me the switch is stuffed and its a cheap fix.

I can't imagine a toggle switch failing in that mode, but there's a first time for everything. Testing the switch with a DMM will tell you.

If your switch is good, you can jumper the middle wire and either of the outer wires. and run the two wires you reversed on the controller to the toggle switch. If it's a DPDT, you can have the wires reversable using the toggle switch. If it's a SPDT, you'll need to get a DPDT switch. You will have to run four wires to the toggle, two from the controller and two from the wiring harness. Connect the two from the controller to the middle switch terminals, and two the the top terminals. run jumpers from the top terminals to the bottom termins, but cris cross them, which will reverse the two wires going to the controller. If Forward and Reverse are backwards, simply swap either the two wires to the controller or the two from the harness.

If it has three lugs, it's single pole. If it has six, it's double pole.

The stock is double throw, but has three positions - neutral.
