Default Dash help

This is a fun one. My 2 year old took my wallet out of the cup holder and slipped it into the slot in the center of the dash. I think where a stereo would go. How do I get in there to get it out? Any ideas?

The cup holders pop off and you can reach your hand in from there.

The easiest way I gain access is from the front. I remove the EZGO emblem and the plastic "firewall" can be pulled down enough to easily reach inside. My dash panel of switches and ammeter is held in place with four brass bolts and nuts. I reach inside with a socket and the nut, while my wife turns the bolt. I replace the emblem using two thin wing nuts, to make removal and installation much easier.

I have squeezed my arm in between the underside splash guard and the cowl without removing anything just under the headlight location... but out west you are just as likely to grab a black widow spider as what ever you seek in there.

My 1998 TXT has two holes in front and is held in place with the emblem. I don't have OEM headlights, but we have a lot of black widows here too, and they love small, dark spaces. Our house upstairs light fixtures are "scorpion hotels", they can check in, but they can't check out.

But you are right. I could reach in there without removing the emblem.

All kinds of things can be in there. Watched my nephew driving one of the sparkies and all of a sudden bailed out. ?? first thought was WTH? Cart stopped and he was on his feet when I got to him with the WTH question and his response was SNAKE !!

Apparently as he was rolling he glanced over to see the head of a 5 ft rat snake peeking out of the golf ball holder. As soon as he bailed it calmly came strolling out of the cart and into the grass. I make sure the make a lot of noise before I put my hands in there.

I wouldn't bail just because of a rat snake.

This was at the lake place where we have lots of moccasins also. In this case when it was 6 inches from his leg it was a bail then look.
