Default I can't believe it's plastic

Just got a 2011 ezgo l6 express limo,it has the 401cc 13.5hp. Kow.motor.was wondering if a plastic oil drain plug is normal.there is one in front and one at the back. And how careful do you have to be with them. Thanks steve

Mine is plastic. It has an o ring, so just don't over tighten it. No troubles so far.

Thanks 4, I spose kow knows what they are doing,I just kept looking for the drain plug. Is there anything I should look for on this engine. I will use Mobil 1 10w30,new gas,and oil filters.I see there is no maintenance on the clutches,on my yamaha,I could greese.any help? Thanks steve

I keep a clean air, fuel filter, change the oil and filter, and drive it like you stole it! I also use Mobil 1.

Plastic oil plugs seem to be more common in a lot of vehicle theses days ... our 2011 F350 6.7 L diesel rated at 400 hp and 800 ft-lbs has a plastic oil plug with an O-ring ... I am hoping / thinking that Ford knows what they are doing

Ford hasn't known what they were doing with the power stroke since the 7.3........ lol had to get my shot in

I did the oil change yesterday,Whow black, I kinda like the idea of the o ring,very nice seal,thanks all for the info,also does anyone know where the back up buzzer is? Thanks steve

Thought I would get back,I did get the back up buzzer problem solved,the buzzer is behind the key as. There is also a plug in At the gear shift lever,on mine both were discounted. I have a good buzz now,no pun intended,,, steve

I had a 7.3 powerstroke in my 95 dually with a 5 speed, NICE.
I have a 5 cylinder inline powerstoke in my 16 Transit van with a 6 spd auto, it is nice too
