Shifter gate. Using aluminum, I milled a slot to the thickness of the shifter. The slot is offset....in neutral the shifter will move left & right like many 4 speed cars. In neutral pull the shifter toward the driver and straight up is forward, push the shifter toward the passenger and straight back is reverse. Works very well, however no kids drive this cart! Wish I had a better pic, hope this helps.
