G1 govenor operation
Hey guys..
Can someone explain how the governor works, specifically in relation to the rear differential ? Thanks in advance |

2 ways on the G1, it can limit the throttle travel which can be adjusted but it is also centifical so even eliminating the outer portion will only gain so much. they can be removed but requires the diff to be split. No sure how much youd gain as i doubt the G1 engine could produce enough power in that high of an rpm range to make it worth it

Tomorrow I am going to drill the "D" out on the diff govenor arm and weld a washer on the shaft like everyone talks about.
Is there anything i have to do with the arm after that ? Like a spring ? Thanks guys for the help I'm new to the cart scene. |

are you still using the exhuast butterfly? if not just reroute the cable directly to the carb
