Default 2020 Quietech Drive 2 check engine

Hey guys wondering if someone can help me out. I have a 2020 Drive 2 quietech EFI and it has a check engine light when you press the gas. When you let off it gives you a fault code sequence of- 2 long flashes followed by 8 short flashes. Can someone please help me with this?

28 is engine temp sensor, or its wiring. Unfortunately, it's not easy to access. There is a 6-pin "sub-connector" that you can get to easily for testing that includes the engine temp wires (near the passenger side front of engine, but all I can say is "the black & one of the green wires" is the one to test, as the diagram is too low resolution).

Thank you for that. So it started after we installed the 6” lift. Possibly part of the pins pulled out when lowering the rear axle....idk.

You are the absolute man!!!! I can’t thank you enough. I was able to find the wire that came disconnected out of the plug. Re-insert it and everything is good to go! Thank you sooooo much!!!!
