Not sure how much you trust your seller, but look for the serial number on the cart, and post it up here, so that can be verified.

Also, just count the water caps on each battery. If there are 3 caps per battery, then it is 6volt batteries.
just got cart it is a pds, serial number plate is missing from glove box but on re eipt serial is 2681230. Still can't locate date code on the batteries. Thanks again

No serial number plates have been used since 2004 - only a decal (actually there are 3 of them on the cart).

Not all 2010 TXT Series carts are 48 volt. There are 36 volt and the TXT - 48

I miss the serial number plates. The stickers are just seen to many carts with the stickers come off or become faded.

The one under the pedal box is the best one to use as an I.D. When we rebuild a cart we will razor blade the OEM body S/N and tape it to the steering column.

Funny thing is that RXV's are placed on the column, so why can't the TXT / PDS / ST's have it that way?

It's a 36 and I have looked on the negative terminal and if there is anything there I can't see it. I even had the wife out there last night with a flash light trying to read it. They are trojan batteries with a red top.

You may have to gently scrap the top of the post to remove the coating on the terminal. I use a putty knife or gasket scraper when i do them.
