EzGO gone and replaced with Precedent

Since my last thread, I have sold my 1993 Marathon and have purchased a 2006 Club Car Precedent and need to know what type of car I have bought. It seems as if this is a very nice car and was kinda wanting some opinions on what I have bought. I am interested in putting the rear seat on and also a 6" lift. What type of lift do you recommend and are there any up grades that I need to do to insure that I have enough power? If I dont do any upgrades is it possible to burn the motor out? What type of motor does this Precedent have and is this a durable cart? Any help or recommendations will be great!

Thanks for all the help Scotty! After the info I recieved from you before, I wouldn't have guessed that I would have gotten that type of response from you however, you make a good point. I guess if you were in my situation and had any idea what I have purchased this cart for, maybe you would be more than willing to have answered some of those questions and I will continue to think that the reason you didn't was maybe that you haven't had your coffee this morning. Thanks again for your intelligent and most honest answer! For some reason, I'm not thinking that this is the REASON that BGW was formed.

You MAY want to consider asking a mod to move this thread to the Club Car forum.

But to answer some of what you asked:

I'm not a huge fan of the Precedent model but that is because I am a fairly large framed guy and I feel "cramped" in the seating. Other than that they are a nice ride.

If you are planning to modify the cart (lift,tires...... etc.) I would always suggest you upgrade the electronics.

Do a little searching, pretty much every question you have asked has been answered before and alot of them very recently.....
