Re: 2002 36v cc new batteries but very slow
Make sure you hooked up the negative charge wire to the main negative post. It's responsible for the activation of the solenoid.

Re: 2002 36v cc new batteries but very slow
I switched the tow large leads on the solenoid thinking I might have inadvertently reversed them but still nothing when key is on and pedal pressed. I disconnected positive battery cable and put a jumper between the solenoid posts. When I touched the positive cable back to battery it sparked and cart tried to move. Does this mean the solenoid is defective or not hooked up correctly? One solenoid lead is to the v-glide bottom most post and the other solenoid lead goes to the F-N-R switch which I am failry certain is the way it was before. I will try to post some pics later. Thanks for your comments guys. Learning as I go.

Re: 2002 36v cc new batteries but very slow
Check for full battery voltage across the two small wires and try to run the car... If you have voltage, bad solenoid... If you don't have voltage... you've gotta trace the wiring and find out why. It'll probably be a bad microswitch somewhere, or possibly a bad keyswitch or maybe something as simple as a broken wire.

Checked voltage across two small wires and 0V. Will start tracing wires and checking switches. Thanks again for all of your help guys.
