Re: 19.6mph
Thats the bill of sale from when he bought the cart. According to his post they replaced a batt under warranty and it wouldn't do 19.6 after that. That shouldn't have happened. They then changed the controller trying to remedy the situation. The new controller isn't going to have option code 4 unless someone ate the additional cost for it. I dont see how changing a battery can wipe out option code 4 but....you never know. The way I see it....its pretty simple really. Either the dealer is going to have to eat the cost of option code 4 or the customer is.

Re: 19.6mph
ROADY89 I have seen programs dropped because of improper power disconnect, like not unhooking ground cable first or not paying attention to position of run-tow switch?
As to the 19.6 mph I went by what SSPENCE wrote "Bill of sale for 19.6" |

Re: 19.6mph
They replaced the controller trying to get him his 19.6 MPH BACK. He didn't purchase it. (First post of this thread and according to the OP still under warranty. At least partially) I don't know why he would have to buy it again when the shop is at fault. It was fine before they worked on it. If they are a competent shop they should have no trouble putting his cart back to the the way it was before he brought it in. That includes programming speed code 4 like his original controller that THEY replaced. Thats like telling someone you put the wrong oil in their turbo Porsche and the engine blew up you are going to replace it with a Yugo engine. Again, one things for sure. Someone is going to have to eat the cost of the option code for the new controller.
