Additions for a 2000 EzGo
I am about to be an owner of a 2000 model ez go electric cart. My sole purpose for buying the cart is to soup it up for a hunting vehicle.
What are the most important additions I will need to put on it? I will be making modifications/additions as time/money allows. I would like to start with the most important and make my way towards the extras. Thanks for the help |

Re: Additions for a 2000 EzGo
Is it a series motor or sepex (DCS/PDS) motor?
What kind of terrain will you be using it on? What is your budget? |

Re: Additions for a 2000 EzGo
I'm not sure what kind of motor it is....it is from a golf course?
I will mainly be using it on dirt roads at the ranch. It won't need to climb any rocks or go through a foot of mud. Like I said earlier, this is will simply be a "hobby" and I will only be adding things as money allows. I am aware that there will be some upfront costs that will need to get me on my feet. This is what I am concerned with right now. (wiring, solenoids, lifts, etc....) thanks again |

I believe it is a series model but I will double check with my brother when he gets off work later this evening...

Re: Additions for a 2000 EzGo
No matter what series it is, you will need to upgrade all cables to 4ga min. A golf course golf cart will come with 6ga.
Make sure your batts are in good shape. Full of water, clean, cables tight, etc. If it is a series cart you will have more fun since the parts are not as expensive as dcs/pds carts. |
