Default Speed up E-Z-GO Golfcart model 2010?

Hello.

I'm looking for a way to speed up my E-Z-GO golfcart.
The speedchips I find can not be used for model 2010.
48 Volt (4 x 12 V batteries), serial number and bar code at the steering column is 5099300. And an key, no switch.

Anybody an idea?

Thanks.

Your cart is an RXV style and has an AC drive system. It is a very new design, and I have not seen anyone "hotrod" an RXV yet. What is the current speed of the cart on flat ground?

Take it to the dealership closest to you and pay them to reprogram the speed / controller. They will have to have the handheld device that has this feature enabled.

If your cart was a NEW Freedom model, it is already set at the fastest speed. If you have a used cart that was an original fleet cart, then there is plenty of room for improvement...

Thanks for the answers.

I don't know the current speed, but I prefer more speed.

I live on Curacao, no dealer on the island. The cart was shipped ....

So all I can do is wait, untill somebody else find the solution....

You need to borrow a GPS or measue the speed with an automobile so folks know what they are dealing with.

You can always contact an EZGO dealership to purchase the freedom controller upgrade, since you don't have access to a handheld programmer...
