How do you remove studs connecting trim & Dash
I'm trying to take apart my newly purchase 1993 Marathon.
Need help removing studs that hold on trim, dash etc. Looks like a center pin pushes bottom on pin apart to make the connection. Is there an easy way to remove them without destroying them. |

OK not studs, rivets.
I'm guessing drill them out and replace with new when reinstalling. |

Yes sir. If they are metal there is no salvaging them. If the are plastic drive rivets you can take a punch and pop out the pin in the middle.

Re: How do you remove studs connecting trim & Dash
Upon further inspection it looks like I have both.
Rivets drilled out easy. Going to try a punch on the other now. Thanks for the advice. Tom 1993 Marathon |
