EZGO Solenoid replacment
Replacing original solenoid is bad. Everything stock on cart cart is a PDS. Will I damage other original components if I replace the original solenoid with an upgrade solenoid SOLENOID, 36V, 200A, D&D MOTOR KIT the upgrade unit is 200 amps continuous duty and 800 amps break current. or should I replace the original unit with stock solenoid. Thanks for your help.

Re: EZGO Solenoid replacment
No, it won't hurt anything. A solenoid is just a switch and going bigger on the contact ratings is okay. Go smaller is the No-No
In fact, the stock PDS solenoid is sort of wimpy for the application, so it needs to be kicked up the current rating a notch or two anyway. |
