Guess what I'm gonna buy when I need a new set.
Check to see if either of the dealers deliver. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my local Trojan dealer delivered and picked up my cores for no charge, especially since I would have had to use two cars, and had to trade in a BIG school bus battery to avoid two core charges when I went from 6 to 8.

That also left me more time to work (and drink) on my buggy.

Thumbs up Re: 1995 EZGO Medalist has good power after charge then dies

Finally got back - Here's the numbers comparing Trojan with same grade Interstate.

Code:
Manufacturer	Model	Minutes	AH @	Weight	Length	Width	Height
@ 75A	20 Hr	Pounds	Inches	Inches	Inches

Trojan T-105	115	225	62	10.375	7.125	10.875
Interstate	U2200	122	232	62	10.250	7.120	11.120

Trojan T125	132	240	66	10.375	7.125	10.875
Interstate	U2300	140	242	65	10.250	7.120	11.120

Trojan T-145	145	260	72	10.375	7.125	11.625
Interstate	U2400	154	251	70	10.250	7.120	11.000

@ Scotty: Don't worry about me tossing rocks at my Interstate dealer, he services my cars, and what he would toss back at me would probably weigh less than a rock, but be traveling a lot faster.

@ yurtle: I won't be buying new batteries until spring and between now and then, I'll be doing a total cost analysis.
I prefer to support my local merchants and I try to buy products made in U.S. of A., but I don't always succeed.

I bite the bullet and buy American batteries every chance I get...... I send cheap customers to buy import batteries someplace else.
I don't mind paying extra to get a better product, besides ... I know it costs more to pay a man to do a child's job

Well I am pretty sure I am going to go with the Interstate 2200 and then I can better afford to put a new set of 4 gauge cables on the cart care of Scottyb!

I was curious, so I checked out all of my recently purchased goodies. My T-105s, my AXE4855, and my EX-Ray were all made in the USA. Only the BIG solenoid wasn't.

Thanks again for all the help. yurtle; I looked into the EX-Ray and I was wondering if you knew where you were going to mount that unit? I don't know what kind of cart you are putting it in.

***Never mind, I looked further and it showed how it mounts!

Ah, but it doesn't show where I'm going to mount it!

I'd prefer that it have two decimal places for voltage, but I figure this is probably easier for me to remember:

51.0 - 100%
50.5 - 90%
50.0 - 80%
49.5 - 70%
49.0 - 60%

And you can set a yellow warning light and a red danger light at any voltage you like.

Seems to be spot on with my Fluke as well.

Max/min/avg. speedometer, odometer, voltage (with low alarm), ambient temperature, motor or controller temperature (with high alarm), clock, hour meter, interval alarm, etc.
