Default wiring question

I have a question regarding wiring up this cart I am buiding.. it is going to be 48 volt. I have the 73043g01 harness.. I would like to to wire the lights, brake lights etc to the key switch as well as the stereo.. with this being 48 volts.. what is the best route to go? can I wire the key switch to the extra 12 volt battery?? sorry if this has been covered.

thanks in advance

Ezgo used a 3 position key switch for lights. Position 1 = off position 2 = on position 3 = on with lights on

I bought a three position for just this, since my original key switch just had on and off. It's a double pole switch, so no problem keeping the 48 volt and 12 volt circuits separate.
