Well it's a start...first cart...kinda..
This is actually my second cart, but the first was a bit older 83 model I never did anything with as it never fired my interest. I wanted to upgrade but there was just too much wromg with the older one for me to put money in. At least I thought so. Everything needed something fixed it seemed.
I know this isn't anything too special, but Im fired up about it and it really is a step up from where I was. Its a 93 DS 36V resistor/series model, and stock as best I can tell, maybe aside from the red color. Batteries seem very strong too. Doing my best to take care of them and learned quite a lot on that here and from Scotty's site. Got a pretty good deal on it and a very good trade on my old one, so now the fun begins. The addiction potential is a bit scary and really surprising how different it is with these things. I have other toys, but the amount of stuff you can do with carts is just amazing. Ive been doing a lot of reading here, but have a ton of questions still and hope you won't mind me posting some. We had some snow this week, record breaking in fact and I had to get out in it with my new toy. It did extremely well I thought and we had a lot of fun. Looking forward to talking with you guys more and have really been enjoying the forum. So here it is for now....we will see what happens down the road. Take care, Patrick |

Midland Tx. And its a rare day like this. We've had a couple this winter...even a White Christmas and If I said how much fun we had that day you'd all think I was plain goofy. It really was a blast. I was amazed how well we got around but I think the tires need some credit. Im thinking I may keep and fix this thing up nice, but not entirely sure yet.

The first mod I would want is a flip rear seat and already have the heavy duty leaf springs. The first things I need to do are clean up all the connections as some are still not too good. I've cleaned the worst ones, but plan on getting all of them this weekend. One connection on the F&R switch looks pretty scary though, but I will deal with it. A couple of cables need replacing too...just common stuff. So this is where I will start. If anyone has suggestions on other things I should do or check right away, Id love to hear about them. |

Make sure you disconnect your main positive cable and main negative cable before you work and there. The last thing you want to do is get zapped keep in mind the cleaner the better be careful and have fun..................
