1992 Club Car Universal Light kit Relay Clicking
I am installing a universal light kit into my 92 DS. I put everything together: Voltage reducer into a fuse block. All lights connected (not the relays tho) and am just getting a clicking out of the relay.
I know this: The fuse block is good as other accessories are working I attempted to ground the front headlight relays as well with no change (clicking at the relay) I attempted to run the lights power wires direct to an individual battery with no change (still just clicking at the relay) The fuses are good in the fuse block. It does however, make my ground effect lights "pulse" with the ticking at the relay. What I don't know: The switch has a 3rd wire (black) not hooked to anything. (Red and White wires are preterminated at the switch). SHould this go somewhere or need to be grounded or is this just part of the relay stuff I won;t be using for signals? Do the turn signal lights need to be hooked up and grounded (i read it doesn't). I am at the point where I may just cut out the relay and wire everything together. I'd hate to if it's a simple fix tho. ANy input is appreciated. -thanks in advance |
