Default series motor or not?

hello everyone,i got a 09 cc precedent,my serial number starts with PQ09,my question is,is it a regel or a series motor,im not even sure if its i2 or an i2l or what,im new to carts so any help is good help,oh yea is a 09 precedent a good cart to lift? thanks jay.....oh yea #2 its got a 48v 6- 8v batteries in it, not 4 12s

Your cart has a Sepex motor...

erict is correct. It's an IQ system as indicated by the "PQ" serial number, and yes it's an i2. All Precedents built after 2008.5 are i2 body style configuration. And yes, it's an excellent candidate for a lift kit.

thanks guys,i sure am glad i found this site,the info here is priceless.is a sepex motor good for modifying,i mean can i still change motors and go faster and upgrade stuff, well you know?thanks again..... jay.........

Sure you can upgrade and change motors to go faster. You can also change your controller, battery cables and anything else your wallet will allow.. One important thing to remember with a Sepex motor......never stall it, like if you are stuck and your foot is on the go pedal and your tires won't turn.
