The charger will click on and off and you can hear it humming, but the meter doesn't move off 0

Oh, I did not know they made golf cart batteries, I only considered crown, US or Trojan for golf cart although they are more expensive.

Hope you can get them to charge up.

I would think if its humming its charging. Strange, I wonder if it trickle charges at very low amperage because the pack is so low. Hopefully someone will have a more educated opinion.

****I just reread your first post and it seams that the charger is doing the same thing as before so probably not charging. I would try another charger

Those are Sam's club batteries I believe. They are made by East Penn who make Deka.

Can you try the charger on another cart? Also, when you connect the charger also hook up your multi meter and see if the voltage rises.

What issue were you having that made you install new batteries? Also, triple check your wiring again.

1999 CC has an on board computer controlling the charger. to figure out if the trouble is in the charger or the OBC do the OBC bypass test:

OBC bypass & Test =
The black wire coming out of charge receptacle has a yellow fuse holder, open it up and connect a jumper from the end coming out of receptacle to the negative on Battery 6 or the last one in series. Plug in the charger if it comes on your OBC is most likely TOAST.

Receptacle has a red wire leading to positive on #1 battery, black wire looping up to a glass fuse link then runs back to OCB, grey wire running back also. Charger meter jumps from 0 to 5 when jumping black wire to #6 batter. Question is, if my OCB is bad can I bypass it and charge my batteries until I get a new OCB. Where's a good place to order one?
