Default 2009 EZ Go RXV wont charge

I have a 2009 RXV with new Trojan 1275 12 volt batteries stamped june 12 with a delta-q quiq 48 volt charger. Whenever i plug in the charger to the cart it will not accept a charge. I get a fault code on the charger. (fault led flashes one time) Upon reading the manual to the charger this code says it could be a couple of things. 1) battery voltage is too high or 2) open circuit. Everything seems to be hooked up right and all the connections are tight and free of corrosion. This is my first cart, so i am not very familiar with them.

Has anyone else had this charging problem? Any help would be appreciated!

ONE RED FLASH: One flash, a pause and then
again one flash and a pause - Charge Enable
Fault: poor contact in the DC connector or dirty

temperature is greater than 122° F (50° C) or less

Thanks rib
That is kinda what i was thinking. I know it isnt the temp because the cart has been sitting a couple days. I took the charge port out of the cart today and looks like one of the prongs got too hot sometime and the plastic was a little melted around the brass prong. The other two prongs were shiney and the other prong had a tarnished look to it like it had gotten too hot. So maybe this is the problem.

Anyone else had the charge ports go out on the RXV?

EZGO had a so called campaign to replace the RXV charge recepticles. I had to replace about 150 at the local golf course. I have no idea way, I just did.

Also, that charger is known for its own issues. I have seen more bad "new" charges than good ones.
