Default Wiring issues and questions

I am starting my own thread because I need further help and was posting in someone else's who had a similar issue. JohnnieB provided me with a wiring schematic for an 07 series cart and was kind enough to mark out the high current path. I just have one question which im sure is obvious to most but I just want to double check so I dont fry anything. Does BL+ coming off the battery connect to one side of the solenoid and the other connects to B+ on the controller? I am assuming thats what the dotted line going from the resistor to the solenoid is showing.

I got my issues worked out and cart running but I am still baffled at how my cart runs with a different wiring diagram then the one above. I tried wiring the cart as shown above and got nothing but when I change the wires on pin 1 to solenoid, pin 2 black to ITS, pin 3 white to ITS and orange wire from micro on F/R to pin 4 and Motor A1 to controller B+ it runs like a champ.

The dotted line is between the solenoid contacts and the solenoid coil, indicating a mechanical or physical (or in this case - magnetic) connection exists between the two even though they are drawn in different locations on the schematic.

Same is true of the dotted lines showing the contacts of the two microswitches are actuated by the F/R cam.

Sounds like you have an aftermarket controller.
I stock controller (Curtis 1206SX) won't work the way yours is connected.

If it is an Alltrax controller, got to their website and download the schematic for a AXE controller in a series cart.

Glad to hear you got in working.
