Default Need a motor 48v

Have a CC DS with a motor that has an open field curcuit. # on motor is 1017857-01, where should I look to find a replacement and do I need to get this exact motor. The more torque I can get the better.

A higher torque motor will require a bigger speed control to allow it higher amperage access. Higher amperage access will require the cables and F&R be upgraded to handle the load.

No you can find any # of replacement motors that will bolt up, just be careful the amperage draw is really not much greater than stock or you will be needing all the components I mentioned above

You need a motor of the same type of drive system. So if you have an IQ then an IQ motor will work.
