That's probadly just a remanufactured date when they cleaned it up and put a new body on it. May I ask for the name of the dealer?

I'm sure they do if done by a cc dealer there are a lot of shops out there cleaning up cars putting on painted body's calling them 2o12 remans but the serial number stays the same. For instance it would be a 08 cc ds redone in 2012

. . . difference is that CC gives a warranty (1 or 2 year, I think) with their remans . . .

. . . it seems it is a 2008 CC that was converted and certified to a LSV by a third party (Alumacar USA LLC) in May 2012 . . . so for titling purposes, it is a 2012 LSV now . . .
