Default Minimum Rear Lift May Be Needed -Any advice?

2002 TXT

I'm planning on running a 205/30R14 on the rear and a 205/30R12 on the front. Based on my calculations I'll have about a 2" difference in diameter between the two tire sizes. I'm trying to achieve a slight raked/jacked up look in the rear.

I'm told by the ITP Ultra GT tire distributor the 205/30R14 will be right around 21" inflated and the 205/30R12 will be 19" inflated. I think this is going to place me in the land of needing a slight lift for the rear. Can someone refer me/point me to a good option for a lift kit? I don't want to get crazy, only the bare minimum for keeping the tires off of the body. The wheel combination I will use will have a -.75" offset.

Appreciate your thoughts.

And one issues with tires, the size isn't always correct... a 205/30 14 would be 18.92 inches outer diameter.. 205 X .3 / 25 X 2 + 14 = 18.92

Okay, I'll play around with this when I actually have the wheels/tires and the buggy fully loaded.

Thanks,

Pat

Look at TerryH's build thread, he did what you are talking about. I think all of the 14" wheels have less offset so that they tuck. I doubt a lift will be needed.

Okay, I know you directed me over that way once before. I thought I read though that Terry installed air shocks on his? I'll go re-read his build up before asking again! :)

Thanks,

Pat
