Default help with ds suspension/steering

i just installed my first lift, a 6" jakes a-arm, and everything is good except i cant get the nuts to tighten on the end of the steering arm. i am talking about the nuts that hold the steering arm onto the spindle assembly.

they will not tighten enough to even get the small pin through the bolt before the bolt itself starts spinning.

it is going to be the nut (#20) in the first diagram in this post....

any suggestions? does the whole thing (#6 from the diagram) need to be replaced?

thanks

you are talking about the ball joints on the tie rod. may need to press them in and unless really worn should not have to replace
