OFT You are right, I am sure there are ways or I could have beat it to submission however, that day I just gave up the ghost and bowed to its resilience.

I have may be a stupid question..but...I know anything is possible with the right tools..blah blah blah...but can you mount a vehicle steering wheel to a golf cart. I would like to have a different one on mine but the cart ones are expensive compared to car ones.

The after market ones mount perfectly on the adapters that Crash posted, but the factory ones do not. The splines and diameter on the shaft are different.

I tried to put a '62 Impala wheel on mine and there was no way it would fit.

Thanks Scott..I know where I can get a cheap ole school chain steering wheel. Theres also a new one at O'Reillys that matchs perfect...guess I'll be buying a new steering wheel. Thanks to you too Crash!

thanks Dave...by the way where do you get all the cool pics, diagrams and accessory sayings...by the way, I liked the bigfoot insert on the other thread...
