Ezgo dcs slows and stops motor build? help!!
Have a ezgo dcs runs perfect just put a lift on 6" with 22" tires but it would do this before I replaced controller with used one new solenoid and 4 gauge wires its VERY slow goin up hill and don't have a lot of torque is this the motor? I'm very good with tools does someone make a build kit also this cart set for 2 years with bad batteries ( before it was mine) could I take the motor apart and clean it? Blast it or? I guess it could be rusted? Any help would be great

You mentioned that it was a bit slow going up hills, but putting the bigger tires hurt you more as it took some of your torque away. If it were me, I would go with a 500 amp controller and a SD Solenoid .... and it wouldn't hurt to have a complete set of 2 ga. Cables. And send your motor off to plum quik.
