Default Criagslist ad for EZGO

I was looking on craigslist today and ran across this ad and wanted to see what yall thought. Not sure how good/bad of a deal this is as im new to the whole golf cart life. Ive already got a 2002 TXT but if its a good deal and hopefully wouldnt need a ton of work i would think about getting it. I talked with the guy and he said its been sitting for awhile and it looks like it from the pics. Let me know what yall think. http://greenville.craigslist.org/rvs/4069198607.html

It's a 95 to 99 DCS looks like the driver side rear wheel is locked up, needs batteries $ 600 to 800, seat $ 100, $ 400 for cart and your not sure it will run

i see that about the drivers side rear wheel now that you point it out. What would cause that?

Brakes rusted in the "ON" position, differential problem, or motor problem.

And it would need a battery tray as well.

I would offer maybe $200 and give him all the reasons that have already been posted, if it is totally toast you still have at least $200 in usable parts, but if you like projects you could get it running and since most of us on here upgrade everything anyways strip it down and start over again.

I'm with bxlt.......even though the body finish is oxidized, that's not a bid deal as long as its solid, and if the frame is solid (minus the battery tray), ya got a good top and looks to be good tires/wheels.

$200 and take it away, would be a great project cart!

Don't do it, unless you can get for about 200 for parts. There is better for less or real close to the 400.
