Best I can tell the cases are dry but not sure underneath.. And yeah first thing I thought was the 12 volt circuit.. Just strange. I plan on pulling the batteries again and repainting all the cage again. Maybe even put some undercoating on it or quacker tape

Like jb said, you would be better starting a new thread but to answer the question, Yes. Batteries were weeping voltage through the cases. Painted the cage think and made an jacket using an inner tube. Worked fine.. Batteries have been replaced now..
