Re: Cart wants to do a burnout
Disconnect the throttle input wires to the control and test. Does the cart still take off ?

Re: Cart wants to do a burnout
Hmm, this is interesting. So I went out just now and tried it. With the wires disconnected the motor does still run but much slower than when they're connected. Plus the speed is inconsistent, kind of choppy I guess. It acted like it wanted to stop at times, but it never did. I reconnected the wires and tried it again and it went back to warp speed once again...

Re: Cart wants to do a burnout
It did go to a voltage converter for the headlights. The previous owner had it connected like that. I disconnected it some time ago.

Re: Cart wants to do a burnout
I wonder if you have the 3 small wires switched up? The 2 throttle and 1 power wires.

Re: Cart wants to do a burnout
. . Terminal #1 - small red should go to solenoid . . . Terminal #2 - green should go to #3 Micro in F/R . . Terminal #3 - yellow (yours appears to be "white" in pic) should go to VGlide . .

Re: Cart wants to do a burnout
Well, the colors are connected like it shows in that diagram. Plus the green and yellow wires showed varying resistance as I depressed the go pedal. I'll go back and trace the wires down and make sure, but I'd say they probably are connected correctly.
