'93 DS gangsta lean?
My cart leans to the left... I am toying with the idea of just swapping the leaf springs in the rear from one side to the other. Any thoughts on this?

Re: '93 DS gangsta lean?
Mine did the same thing when I first bought it.
You can try swapping but replacing springs is the way to go. I had a four seater with original springs so I replaced the springs with a HD ones with a load helper for the bottom leaf. M |

Ok, maybe a better question would have been where is the BEST place to buy new springs... I could Google it but then I wouldn't be able to get input from helpful people like you thus establishing connections...

Do you have a 4 seater cart or one with cargo area? It would be best to figure out what springs your need.
M I bought mine at Golf Cart King a site sponsor. |

I tend to make a lot of my purchases via eBay... Not saying it is the cheapest or best but I find for the most part most any vendor today has learned the benefit and drawbacks of eBay... |

Re: '93 DS gangsta lean?
It is a 2 seater cart. I bought it as a dual purpose cart. Tooling around the neighborhood during the week and using on the weekends for shooting 3-gun matches. For 3 gun it will be 2 fat guys and 150#s of gear so I am not sure that this 36V cart is going to be the best choice...
No worries Teecro, I am very new to this and I am sure there will be a learning curve. |

Re: '93 DS gangsta lean?
IMHO I would put a single spring with a load lever spring on bottom so if it loaded the helper spring will kick in. The ride will also be better than multiple leaf springs.

Re: '93 DS gangsta lean?
I bought springs from a trailer shop. Measure eye to eye and compare what they have. Mine cost about $20.00 per side and have been on my cart about 6-7 years.
