I really like the idea of checking to see if the fuel pump pushes fuel out several inches in spurts.
I'm sure the gasket, plastic spacer and o-ring are installed properly. I didn't run the cart with the auxiliary tank, it was on blocks. You could hear the difference in the engine. I will check the butterfly, but I don't think that is it. I ordered the reed valves this morning. They were cheap. I was hoping that the reed valves were the cause of the lack of fuel. I still have the old fuel pump, I can see how far that pump pushes out the fuel compared to the new one. I also suspect the work of my co-worker Bob. When I was diagnosing the ignition system, I noticed a few mistakes that shouldn't have been made. I now question all the work he has done. |
