Default G8 Speed Options

OK electric cart gurus, I am in need of some help.

I have a G8 36V cart here. It is SLOOOW. Although it is the second fastest at the resort.

I want to do a controller upgrade, motor upgrade, and HS gears. I was also considering adding 2 batteries to the pack to go with a 48V setup off a newer cart.

Please give me options. Here is a little history of what we have went through on this cart: First I was under the impression it was a 2003 G22. Then the guy called and informs me it's a G19E... I get more prices for that. It arrives and it turns out it's a G8 with a G19 body on it. I don't know if there are any upgrades available for the G8 powertrain, but I sure would like to.

Thanks people!

Not sure about the gears for it but there are plenty of controller and motor upgrades for it. Just upgrading the controller and batts to 48 volt will give you 20-25% increase in power. Replace the crappy stock cables with 4 guage peices while you are there. With the stock motor you dont really need a controller over 400 amps.

This cart was returned to the owner about a month ago and will run in the 30s.

I put a DCX500 500 amp controller on it and a D&D ES 65-51 motor on it, put 4 gauge cables and upgraded it to 48V on all new wiring (thanks to Roady).

It would light up the tires on concrete and hit top speed in what seemed like no time flat. However, it had a homemade lift under it and you couldn't even get it up to the top speed on anything other than asphalt.
