oil switch&light
Have G2 and can not figure out the oil switch and light. Have wired as in diagram but no light what am I missing and how can I check the switch, light checks good

Light should only come on when the oil is empty. It's not a oil pressure sensor, since the yamaha is not a pressurized system.

ok thanks was wanting to know on a test as I have no clue if it even works as the wires are missing mainly the red wire to the igniter box

Check your oil regularly, and you'll be fine...
