Default Seat compatibility

Looking for a decent used seat for my Workhorse 1200, I’ve found that the txt seat will interchange with little to no issues. What’s different with a RXV seat? Are the RXV/TXT seats the same foot print just different locations for the mounting bolts? I’m not having much luck finding TXT or Workhorse parts locally but RXV parts come around often enough to have me wondering.
I did a good amount of searching but may not have been using the right keywords. If that’s the case I fully expect a hard time, just please point me in the right direction 😉

RXV is a no but TXT will work. Be warned that the older workhorse uses a different seat back.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Pretty sure mine had the L brackets that bolted to the bottom of the seat originally, but none of that was with the cart when I got it. If I don’t end up finding those brackets (or the correct seat bottom) I’ll probably just put a work bed back on it and mount the backrest cushions to the front of the bed.

They don’t make the old style anymore but you can change it to the new style with a little work.

By new style, do you mean the brackets that bolt to the frame behind the seat bottom instead of to the seat bottom itself?
