Default Lifting? on a 98 Workhorse ST-350

I need to put new tires on a 98 Workhorse ST-350 and I'm considering a lift before I buy the tires.

I flipped the front spring up on top of the Axle to see how it would look and found out quickly that the Springs interfere with the tie rods. What additional mods are suggested to fix the Spring Tie Rod interference?

Will adding a 1/2" to 1" block to the rear help make room for the tie rods?

What is the recomended way to lift the front of these carts? I was considering adding a block to the rear of the front spring but it look like more than 1" will interfere with the Brake rod.

Any advice would be appreciated,

Thanks,
Mike

We offer a Jake's kit (as with the other Sponsors) for the Workhorse, but you can also use the factory lift kit (my preference), but with some axle tube modifications...

The st350 is already lifted what size tires are you wanting to put on it? What did you do to mount the springs on top of the axle? It's pretty easy to get the tie rods to clear the springs if you do it right.

We make a Jake's 6" ductile iron spindle kit-Part# 6213, and a 5" axle kit-Part# 6215 for this model. You can run up to 23x10.5x12 tires with this kit.

I guess you didn't see my post where I said the ST350 is already lifted Those size tires will fit without doing sh!t.
I'm running 27" tires on my st480, basically the same setup only I put my front axle under the springs.
