Thanks for the pic's! Did you have to remove the hood of the cart to get to the top of the front shocks?

If I remember correctly, I just removed the plate that the key switch is mounted too and stuck my arm in there with a wrench. This will require you to drill out the key switch plate rivets or in my case just remove the screws that were there after the previous owner removed the rivets. There is a plastic panel under the hood that should have enough give to slide a wrench in there too. Working from above and below I was able to get the old shocks out and the new ones in.

Have any pictures with the Speed Racer tires, and what size did you get?

Has anyone installed this kit with 22" tires? If so what offset wheels did you use?

I have this kit half-way installed.. There was a super bargain on Black Friday. I have 21" tires with standard offset on 10" wheels. There is a ton of clearance in the front. I'm sure 23" tires will be OK up there - the replacement front leaf springs are longer, so the tires are further forward slightly.

Now for the fun part. My kit came with new rear spring plates to mount the rear shocks (included with the kit.)

I CANNOT figure out where to mount the springs and the spring plates! The picture in the instructions is too dark, and they don't explain whether the springs go on top of the axle or underneath it, like the originals. My U bolts are too short to attach the new plates, anyway. Not sure why they want the shocks mounted on top of the axle, if the springs go underneath it...

Going the route of trying to find longer u-bolts to reach all the way above the axle about an inch so I can bolt the shock plate above the axle. I wasn't thinking clearly yesterday :) The springs definitely go underneath the axle using the stock mounts. Half of the rear lift is in the shackle and the other half is in the spring profile.

If there are any txt owners out there still considering this over a spindle or drop axle lift, I'll note this kit doesn't currently include spring bushings. The golf course I live on eats rear spring bushings.
